Honeymoon places.. [Archive] - Must Love Weddings

We went to Lake Placid NY in May before Memorial Day weekend. Not recommended since *nothing* is open. But it was nice, relaxing, very scenic and private (we literally had the hotel to ourselves) and it was the best!

We later went on another mini-honeymoon about 7 weeks later in Niagara Falls and that was great. I've got pics somewhere that I'll post.

We went to Alaska! We flew to Anchorage and stayed at a hotel there, and then took day trips! It was WONDERFUL weather, I keep asking if we get to go back for our anniversary this weekend, and DH says No! Oh well....it was so much fun!

We went to the Mayan Riviera and stayed at the El Dorado Seaside Suites. And since you suggested pictures I don't want to let you down!! ;)

We went o Fiji. The most beautiful place I have ever been! If I could find the pictures I was post some, but DH has put them on a disc and I can't find it!

We went to the Mayan Riviera and stayed at the El Dorado Seaside Suites. And since you suggested pictures I don't want to let you down!! ;)

We absolutely love it!! It was so quiet there (adults only) and it wasn't like a huge mega resort. Actually I was just on their website and they were on the list of one of the most romantic hotels for 2005. The website is www.karismahotels.com . And the pictures on there are truly what the resort looks like!! We want to go back SOOO bad!!

We didn't stay there, but we visited for a day because we were staying at Moon Palace. I can't wait to hear about it because that is one of the choices for our honeymoon!

We are going to Europe for 2 weeks and can't wait! :twirl:
We have a free place to stay with access to a car so we will be doing some 2-3 day trips to Switzerland, Austria and The Czech Republic.
I don't think we could have managed it if the flight tickets weren't a wedding present from FH parents. :)

We went on a 4-hour wildlife cruise. Yes, it got a bit chilly -- hence the stocking cap, coat, and jeans! This picture was also taken at 10pm.

We leave for our Western Carribean cruise tomorrow!!! We'll be sailing for 7 days on the Carnival Glory. I'll be sure to share pics when we return. :)

We went to the Poconos and stayed at a Caesar's resort. We loved it!

I think we are going to have to take a trip to Mexico sometime, it looks beautiful!

Road Trip!!!!!!!

Yeah, road trips are a must for us with my electric wheelchair. Can take it on the planes, but then what to do with it once we get to where we're going? The thing weighs a ton. :lol:

It's about 99.999999999% set for NYC. Drive up yonder and spend a few days camping somewhere in the area, sight seeing...Then the last night or two we'll get a hotel in the city and live it up. ;)

We might also hit D.C., too. Not sure, but we are doing NYC for positive. ;) And KOA camping all the way 'cept for the last night or two in NYC. :)

We are going to TN- Smoky mountains. Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. Can't wait to go! I did want a beach honeymoon but in the height of hurricane season, we aren't risking that chance.

We're going to Charleston, SC for a mini-honeymoon right after the wedding, then going to Antigua and Barbuda in December for the BIG honeymoon. I'm sure as heck not going to the Caribbean in October - it's still the middle of hurricane season! :lol:

Keep the pictures coming! The ones posted so far are SO gorgeous!!! It makes me want to go on my honeymoon right now. We haven't decided where to go yet, but I'm pushing for a Caribbean cruise.

We haven't decided either. We've talked about a range of places....Punta Cana, Dominican Republic; Smoky Mountains, Tennessee; Mexico; Disney; and Hawaii.

I think Hawaii is off for now though, when we go, we really want to splurge on that one.

We went to Cancun and stayed at the Gran Costa Real. Everything was excellent. The staff was awesome and made us feel like royalty.

We went to Perdido Key Alabama and stayed at the Caribe Resort. The stay at the condo was a wedding gift.

Here's the living room of the condo, you can see the entrance to the tv room behind me and the hallway leading to the bedrooms and bathrooms (3 of each).
