While I know a lot of brides feel their wedding day should be all about them, I think this takes the cake :giggle:
Seriously, I think this is a step too far...

Yeah, I saw this awhile ago, it definitely belongs in the "wedding things that made you go huh?" I can't believe someone actually wanted to eat themselves on their wedding day :teehee:

Yeah, it gives a whole new meaning to "eat me."
Wow. Just wow.

I don't know if it would have been better or worse if there was a cake-groom standing beside the cake-bride...

Come on, that is just awful. They could have at least made a life-size groom as well!
(Seriously, though, that's just ridiculous!!! Who in their right mind would think that was a good idea?!?)

Yeah, it gives a whole new meaning to "eat me."
 That's what I contemplated the title being, but thought it might not be so appropriate!

Ok, so...The nutjobidness of it aside...It says the cake took about a week to eat. I'm sorry, but Kathy & I had cake leftover...And our cake was nowhere near "person sized"...And we were sick of cake in a few days. Like, how much cake were these people eatting? LoL

I think it is way cool that they can do that! BUT, It is creepy that you would want it!

omfg... I don't know rather to laugh or cry. All I have to say is God bless her finding a man that can obviously deal with her conceitedness

It would be maybe a cool idea for a cake making contest. But for an actual wedding? I don't think so. It may be the one time in my life I just couldn't bring myself to eat wedding cake.

would this be some wild new form of cannibalism? :laugh3:
Seriously though, this is taking it too far. I wonder if it will start some bizarre trend in the bridal industry.

:jawdrop: That would be AWFUL!!!
I can honesty say that the cake designer did an excellent job with the cake, I am not really all that surprised though. I have never seen a cake, but portraits of the Bride all over the reception site I have.......

And she approached two different cake makers about this!! One did the head, the other did the rest! Can you imagine a headless bride as they awaited the other baker to arrive?
