Ok, I guess I will post in here....but geez I'm having the hardest time getting myself to workout. I would like to lose 10-15 more pounds before the wedding (in 2 months) but to workout....ugh. I work like 60+ hours a week....and when I get home from work, all I want to do is sit around....I've been trying to get up earlier in the morning to workout, but I'm just so tired that I can't get out of bed until I absolutely have to....But I do need to start working out on the elliptical or going down to the fitness center at my complex and workout.....so hopefully posting in here will help motivate me a little more.

Hey Katie...and u can do this girl come one! I find that getting up in the AM is hard but at least when i get off of work i can "lounge around"...or canu fin time during the day to get a workout...e.g. walk the stairs, go for a 20 min brisk walk? I do that as well and in the PM i walk home from work or I may go to gym....
WEll i got up this am and I did my morning workout....30 min cardio and 45 weight training :)

I need to get back in the swing of things. I've been slacking since the wedding. I was doing WATP before the wedding... it was great I had lost about 30 pounds before the stress caught up to me and the exercising went out the window. So, I'm going to start back up again. I just wish I had my book. It is still in Florida with the rest of the things we still need to move up her to Georgia. I'm just going to walk a mile a day until I get my book in October.

As much as it sucks, the best time to do cardio is in the morning. 20 minutes in the morning is really all you need! If you're REALLY on a mission you can do 20 minutes in the morning then 40 minutes and lifting at night -- as long as you combine it with a healthy diet the pounds will peel off (and yes, I'm much better at saying than doing recently, LOL!)

destinationbride, my wedding is just a few weeks before yours and I'd like to lose 60 pounds before the wedding too. I am a member at Golds Gym and am really working at getting in there. I've taken a real liking to the eliptical machine. I started out only being able to do five minutes! But I've worked up to 30 minutes. Today I pushed myself and did 45 minutes. I'm just getting started back into the weight machines.

destinationbride, you shouldn't be sad about doing the elliptical instead of running. At least you did something and the elliptical is a great workout and much better on your joints.
Great job Marshall! I have a ton of WATP tapes. I did one mile yesterday.
Today I went to the gym. Did ten minutes on the elliptical then 20 minutes weight training then ten more on the elliptical.

You wouldn't know it since I can't remember the last time I posted in here, but I find this thread to be pretty motivational. I'm so excited when I can add what I've done!!
Anyway, Wednesday night I took the puppy for two 10 minute walks and did the 2 mile WATP (30 minutes). Last night, I took my first salsa lesson with a coworker and one of her friends. Had an absolute blast and definitely worked up a sweat!! :workout:
