I've googled it several times, but I can't seem to find much. All the websites talk about the price per growing plant.
Does anyone know the approximate price per stem of Orchids? I suspect that they're too expensive for us, but I would loooove them. *swoon*

I can't tell the variety by your pic. It depends on the time of year for most pricing lists, and the color/variety. Dyed orchids are very expensive. I wanted cymbidium orchids dyed bright blue and that would have been 45 a stem b/c of the dying process.
I will do a bit of research to find an orchid dealer online ...

Their lovely, I love dendrobium orchids their small, but the plus side is you get many orchids on a stem. Here they usually sell for 5-6 a stem. Sometimes there is an abundance and we Can get them for 3-4 a stem, but your area, florist, grower is the person to really check with pricing.

No, I think I'll just do the arrangements without them, using amaryllis and roses. That is, unless I fall in love with another dark red flower.....
What about you?

try http://www.fiftyflowers.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=48
that's where I'm getting mine from because I'll get about 90 blooms for about $200 which isn't bad. and they have so many choices.
