Does anyone want to join me in the SELF challenge? I'm on a mission to get back into better running shape and lose about 15 pounds that have mysteriously snuck onto my ass. :heee:

I think I might. I need to read more about it first...3 months is just perfect for my wedding and my follow through currently SUCKS! So maybe this would be good motivation.

I think 3 months is definitely a good goal, that's why I'm doing it. Thinking more long-term definitely saps the motivation out of me.

I just signed up for this last week!

Cool! I have to add you to my buddy list, if I can figure out how :lol:

I think you have to have an email address to add a buddy. If anyone wants to be buddies, PM me your email address and we can keep track of our progress on the website and on here :)

Can I jump in here with you guys even if I don't do follow the Self Challange? I'm going to sign up for the challange but I just signed up with Ediets and I'm going to follow them for the next month or two. But I'd like to hang out here with you guys!!

Yay!! If you ladies want to add me as a buddy, my email is wahoomeg45@earthlink.net. I can't start real exercise this week because of my foot, but I'm at least going to keep up with my food diary. I'm hoping to get back on the exercise wagon very soon - I just might have to skip a week of the challenge.

I've learned that I have the worst diet ever :lol: This is my first time actually writing down everything I eat :shuffle:

That definitely opened my eyes to how much I just grab things throughout the day and nibble without even thinking about it! I went to get my (almost) daily handful of peanut M&Ms and stopped because I knew I would have to write it down :lol2:

My hardest time is at work. I just want to sit at my desk and eat eat eat... Evenings I'm fine cause I keep busy but I just can't make it through the day...

Where'd ya'll go?

I was just away for a long weekend and so I did AWFUL!!! I wasn't very happy with the scales at all. Anytime I'm above 135 I'm not happy because 135 is the absolute highest weight I want to be at. Was 138.2 this morning so I guess I'll work my way back down...

We're still here! I think everyone's been pretty busy lately.

I finally got back to exercising yesterday after my foot mishap. It felt good just to go for a walk. DH and I are getting back into cycling and also looking into a once-a-week yoga class to change things up.

Ugh. My food has been disasterous lately. And now I'm getting sick so I feel like doing a whole bunch of nothing!

I could use some motivation!

You know what I struggle with the most...people tell me all the time I'm skinny...but I don't feel skinny...I still feel like I've got weight to lose and that I'm a bit chubby certain places. I wonder if I will ever be content with the way I look and feel like I'm beautiful and attractive?

I've felt that way many times. I used to be really skinny, but I felt fat and always thought my butt was too big, my hips were too wide, etc. Sometimes I just think it's hard to be content with your body, no matter what you do. FWIW, I saw your pictures into the "Favorite vacation pictures" thread and I think you look awesome :)

Thanks Meghan! I think you right though...when I think of all the girls I know I can't think of a single one of them that's happy or content with there body. Which is really kind of sad.

SOOOOOO does anyone ever eat something, knowing that if they do they are going to feel sick afterwards. For instance I wasn't hungry but I decided that I just "had to have" a pop tart(which are kind of gross now that I've had one) and now I feel disguisting and fat. I don't know why I do this to myself!!

I have a subscription to SELF, so I have the little exercise tear-out cards to do for each month. Holy cow, some of those are hard! I guess that's the point, right? :lol: DH and I have been really good with our food lately. We've been buying more organic foods and limiting our sugary snacks.
