I just finished my STDs and I had a great time making them. I want to see what everyone else did either DIY or bought. Don't have Save The Dates yet? Post your dream STD.

The knot is finished and trimmed at the end with clear nailpolish...And the knots will soon be tacked down with 'zots', I believe?

Here are ours. The picture will be put on a magnet which will be affixed to the front of a card with all the info inside.

We're also doing a photo slideshow for certain people that will accompany the above card. Not only will it have pics, but each 'slide' will also have some info that will go thru our relationship...How we met, etc...

I can't wait to send them out in october! I love the Save the Dates more than the invites. Oh and I learned how to tie a bow better since I made our sample STD..lol gotta love martha :hehe:
The calander is a magnet and underneath it on the paper it also has our web site address. Just incase someone loses the magnet they still have all the info on the card as well

Did both you girls print out those magnets yourself or did you get them somewhere? I have the magnets to make our own and I'd like a little calander on them like yours but for the life of me I can't figure out how to make them.

I designed a printed my own.
To make the calander I just made a grid using the line function and filled it in with the numbers.

I designed mine on the computer then ordered them through vistaprint.com
It only cost me $22.00 for 100 of them so I figured it was worth it, than to hassle and print them myself.

But you can do what Belle said for the calander. I used a publishing program I have and you can just add a calander really easily that way. I like to take the easy way around things, can't ya tell lol

What kind of word processing program do you have? I can try and help ya out if you would like.

I just finished ours tonight (well I still need to print all the cards but I have all the magnets done). Laci designed the magnets for me and she did a GREAT job! :)
