Hello! I live in Northwest GA.. about 1 1/2 hours north of Rome. I'm almost a TN bride b/c I live about 15-20 min. from the state line! Nice to see other GA girls here too!

You can get 1 1/2 hours north of Rome and still be in GA? :lol: When we came down from TN it only took us about 45 minutes to get to Rome... Are you up in the mountains?

lol.. yeah.. we're actually directly above Rome. It's really more like just an hour depending on traffic and speed. It's an hour going up Highway 27 (which has a 55 mile per hour speed limit) I'm sure if you took the interstate up it would be quicker.. but I live almost straight up Highway 27.

My parents' house is actually at the foot of Lookout Mt. But no.. we're not up in the mountains! =)

I'm in Danielsville, it is a little town just north of Athens. I grew up in Athens and got a job over here. Now I live 20 minutes from my parents (but only 2 minutes from my FH's house!)

I am getting married in Athens at First Presbyterian, right downtown!

I'm glad for the rain too but my poor FH keeps leaving his windows down on his explorer and the other day he forgot to close the hatch and it was sitting open until I thought about it!

At least now he has leather seats, his old car had cloth seats and would smell for days when that happened. We went a lot of places in my car back then.
