Bm hair- Will it be professionally done?

My bridesmaids will have their hair done professionally and they will be paying for it themselves.

I want theirs to be done with mine so we can all hang out together but the place I might be going to is $65 which is fine for me cause it includes my trial run, but kind of expensive for them. If I have any $$$ left over from what I've budgeted for that, I'll chip in for them.

But my daughters hair (shes a Jr.BM) will be done by my sister (my MOH)

I booked someone to come and do my hair and makeup. Before I did, I talked to each of my girls and found out if they wanted her service too. They all agreed and will pay for it themselves.

I have a person who is coming in and doing my hair and makeup, but she's only doing the BMs makeup. I told them I didn't really care what they did to their hair. If they want it up, they can put it up. If they want it down, they can keep it down.

My MOH is a stylist, and she is going to be doing all of our hair (4 total, counting myself and her). I was planning to hire someone to come to the hotel to do everyone's hair, but she really wanted to do mine and her own. She then offered to do my sisters' hair as well, and refused to listen when I suggested that might be a bit too much for one person. I really love the idea of her doing my hair, so I eventually agreed. She isn't going to charge my sisters anything, so there is no issue of who pays for it in our situation.

I'm having a MOH, my sister, and JR Bridesmaid, my niece. I'll ask them if they want it done and if they do I'll pay for it. But I'm paying for all their stuff since they have to pay to travel out here for the wedding.

That's one of the reasons I'm not making them pay to get their hair done. They are traveling for my wedding over Thanksgiving weekend when rates are astronomical. I'm just happy they'll be there :)

I asked everyone if they were wanting to get their hair done at the same place I'm getting mine done, or else take care of it on their own, and they all agreed they wanted to come with me. I hope that no one expects me to pay for it, because I worded it in such a way. Besides, the stylists really aren't that pricey, it will only cost about 35 with a tip for each persons hair.

That is a great price! I wish I could find someone around here that would charge that. I wouldn't feel so bad asking my bridesmaids to pay to get their hair done then. It just seems like a lot between the dress, shoes, shower and now the hair. I've only been in a wedding once and it was low key and cheap for me. :shrug2:

I think I am just going to let the girls do whatever they want. If they want it done, then they can pay for it. If not, then they don't have to.

Yep, my girls are going with me the morning of the wedding to get their hair done as well. They are paying for their own hair. We are also doing pedicures & manicures the day before as well, and they are paying for those themselves as well.

I am wanting to get mani's and pedi's together and that may be a gift to them, depending on money

Spa day the morning before including nails/pedicure. I have a stylist going to the hotel to do the rest of the BP's hair, my MOH will be with me in the Salon with mum.

My mom, 2 of my BMs (the 3rd one went to a different salon), and I went together to get our hair done. I never told them they had to, but they both wanted to. It was fun!

my BM was a BM in a wedding on Saturday and her up-do cost her $80 plus tip! :eek: makes me feel better about it being $65 for the place we're going to... but then I'm also chipping in, so it should actually only be about $45 plus tip

If any of my BM's want their hair professionally done, that'll be their business. It's certainly not something I'll require of them.

I've been a BM in 2 weddings, & didn't have my hair done for either of them. There was a hair/makeup artist on hand at the 2nd wedding, and we were told that we could use her if we wanted to (we would have to pay for ourselves), but I don't know if anybody other than the bride actually did.

I am having a stylist come to the hotel to do wedding party hair, so I can sneak over to my stylist with mum and my MOH. The only thing that I have requested is UPDOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I only have one attendent, a Maid of Honor (my sister). Sister, Me and Mom will all have our hair done at the same place on the big day.

I think its like $35.00 for an updo + $15.00 Makeup (maybe cheaper?)

My mom is paying for the hair & makeup for all of us :)

The girls are paying $50 each for their hair.

For my wedding, my girls came with me to my hairdressers. They each paid 30 or 35 and mine was free.

My sister's wedding is this November. She has someone coming to the house to do our hair. We are each paying 50 and hers is more.

None of us went anywhere professional to get our hair done; I did my hair, and one of my BMs did everyone else's. Our hair turned out pretty great :).

I've hired a hairstylist to come to the hotel room the day of to do my hair and makeup. For the BM's, it will cost $75 for just an updo. Makeup is an extra $35. I told them they can pick their own style, but I gave them some choices.

My BM's did there own hair. I had 3 attendents plus 2 jr. bridesmaids. My sister had a friend do it. My MOH and other BM did each other's and the jr. bridesmaids mom did their hair. I let them do there own thing, and really didn't care what they did with their hair as long as it looked nice. I went to a salon for my updo because what I wanted was complicated.

We are all going to my salon to have our hair done. I don't know how much it will cost - I think it depends on the 'do. My stylist will be doing my hair and my sister's hair, so she'll probably give us a discount :heee:

I have booked a appointment for the three if us to get out hair and makeup done by a stylist. I know that me and my maoh are forsure, but have yet to ask bm. Right now she has short hair and might just do her own because she good at that. Same with makeup. I would like us all to be together when getting all this done. Its something that I will have to talk to both of them about when we get together next time.

We're getting our hair done at an Aeva Spa here in town. It'll cost $60 for each of us to get both hair and makeup done. They'll be paying for thier own. I didn't demand that they get their hair/makeup done...it was more of a "I'm going here to get mine done, and anyone else is more than welcome to come along!"
