Long story short Friend A and Friend B are SILs. Friend A had set up Friend B with her brother. They no longer get along. I am in the middle. Sometimes I accidently let what one told me slip to the other. Believe me it is completely accidental!!! One time I did get in the middle and it was disaster!!! And I will never let that happen again. I made it through Friend B's wedding planning with minimal slipage and am now onto Friend B's. I know that even after the wedding I will continue to be in the middle of anything between these two. I don't want to end a friendship with either and already had the talk about not putting me in a position with both of them. Neither tries to get information out of me with the exception of a few choice occaisions. But whenever there is drama, even if it's minimal, I feel if I ignore one's phone calls (even if it's because I'm really busy and there's always a phone call from the other) or if I don't talk to the other within a few days I am siding with the other. I'm pretty upfront with these friends and if I think one is wrong I let her know. It's just that it completely SUCKS. What should I do? What would you do?
