So I was at work on Oct. 30 2005. It was about 11:00 am when a women who had just left the store cam eBACk in and said that when she went outside, thrre was somebguy in her car getting into her purse. So I went outside to see if I could see where he went. I looked around, but didn't see him. When I went to the side of the building where employees parked, I noticed ALL of our cars had been either broken into, or vandalized! I went inside, we called the police....and I had to take the tape ot, put a new one in and watch the tape over and over to see if I could see him on any part of the tape. OH JOY! SO, I finally found a few shots of him in the alley behind the store so I could show the police. I went back out to survey the damage on my car. There was no permanant damage (thank God!) but they guy had made a real mess. He had been through every nook and cranny. I was very upset. I felt *violated*! This guy was IN my car! He was all through MY STUFF! I luckily never keep any thing of value in my car. I think the guy may have gotten around $5 in change....but still.:ohreally: I wanted to murder the guy!
Wen I got off work, I went and picked up the kids from my mom's, then headed to Kris's uncles house where he had been attempting to fix his truck. I told him about what had happened, and he was very upset.
When we got back to my house, he had immediatly called Malaki, my oldest son, upstairs with him. I thought it was kinda wierd..but I was still tripped out from earlier. I go into the kitchen to start doing dishes, when Malaki asks me to come into the living room. I did. He was standing there holding a small box (a box that a ring box would come in). He asked me how much I loved Kris. I said "A lot, why?" He then opened the small box, and IT WAS EMPTY! He started laughing, then Kris came from the stairs holding the ring box. He walked up to me and said...."Will you.....uhhhh.....marry me?"
I was shocked! But I said yes, and he said "I was going to wait until Thankgiving, and ask you in front of your whole family, but I thought you needed some cheering up today!"
