New member, new to posting

Hi, I am a newbie to this whole message board thing but a oldie to the whole wedding scene. I am (according to my best friend who is tying the knot in Sept.) a "wedding junkie." I admit it, I own up to it and I am proud of it. I love entertaining, organizing events in the many circles I am part of, making sure details are taken care of, getting everyone on the same page and looking good, eating well and having fun.

I am hoping to gather some unique ideas here for the several weddings I have coming up with family and friends.

She is my very dear best friend, going on 11 years now I think. :) She is making my cake for me (she does the most amazing cakes), and is my all around consultant when it comes to anything wedding related.

Yes - we are both wedding junkies. As a matter of fact, we spent an entire Saturday recently doing almost everything for a family wedding, from making the flower arrangements, decorating the wedding site, making the cake (well, she did this part), to taking the photos. I think the only things we didn't do were the food and the set up of all the rented stuff! Oh - and marry the happy couple. hehehe :)

Anyway - so glad to have her here with me! She always has fantastic ideas, and we are both Etiquette Snobs, so hopefully we can fit right in.

With the warm welcome I have received, I am looking forward to sharing what I have done and will do for weddings in my circle of friends and family. I have experienced so many unique things in the past and will try to make the few weddings in my near future memorable with details that will be different and fun. It will take me a while to understand the whole "posting" thing... I am computer literate, but not so much in the way of websites. I have photos of cakes I have done and some other things I can share, Liza may have to guide me through the process, so bear with me.
