Well first I will start with when I surprised him with his promise ring. I gave him a card and made sure he was busy reading it. At the very bottom it said for him to turn the card around.. and on the back I had writing "Look up". When he did I had his ring on my thumb. He was very surprised =)
Now onto the engagement story. We had talked about marriage and I had even showed him what types of rings I liked online. I knew he had the ring so I knew the proposal was close but I didn't know exactly when. One day he had me come over to see him after I got off of work and before he went in. Nothing out of the ordinary there. We went back to his room and sat on the bed and he handed me our love book. The love book is something I started that had letters and lyrics that we would write to each other passing it back and forth. He had written a letter for me which was very sweet and at the bottom it said for me to turn the page.. and there was the words again of "Look up" and when I did there he was with the ring and he asked me to be his wife.
I was stunned and happy and crying. It was a beautiful moment for us :)
