Surely we have another thread about this, but I can't find it. If you did a big exit from your reception, how did you do it? I came across this picture and I  it.

We had rose petals tossed at us. More like pelted, actually.

My sister was supposed to have sparklers but they were forgotten at the last minute so we tossed silk leaves instead.

We shot some friends' wedding in college. They had recently lost a baby at 8 months, whose name was to be Juniper, so they had the guests toss juniper berries. :sniff: She found out she was pg again 2 days before the wedding and now has three. :)

My friend Becky had a winter wedding and her guests threw snowflake confetti.

Streamers waving you off to your new life. Fireworks, sparkers, petals,

We didn't do anything fun like that at all, we left while the place was getting cleaned up. And we went out the doors chatting with a two of the groomsmen and the fiance of one of them, so we definitely weren't worried about making a grand exit

There weren't many people left by the time we left, but the ones that were blew bubbles.

I get emails from a fireworks company (don't ask why!) and they turned me onto sky lanterns. Like most fireworks, the origin is Asian. This is a beautiful way to leave your reception.
