My RSVP due date was last Saturday and of course, quite a few people didn't RSVP.... I started contacting some of my friends who didn't RSVP via email as to whether they were coming or not and one of my friends emailed me back rather confused... "What RSVP card? I didn't recieve an invitation!"
Now, I know I sent this person an invitation... I'm just kinda concerned on what to do ettiquite wise now.... Do I just tell him when the wedding is via email? Do I tell him via email and then resend an invitation to make it official?
Has anyone else had to deal with this before?

Even if you have some extra invites, I would personally just email him all the details. You probably need a final count very soon and waiting for him to receive the invite and then answer may take up too much time.

I was thinking the same thing. Tell them you are shocked that they didn't get the invite and that it must've got lost in the mail. Then share the details. They probably won't be upset about the invite if they realize it was lost. I think if someone wants to keep an invite, they will ask you for another one.

I would do exactly what the other girls have said....e-mail and tell them it must have got lost in the mail, here are the details, and please let us know ASAP if you'll be able to attend or not.

We had one get lost in the mail, but it was cousins who's parents had gotten the invite, so we told them to just add them in.
I would call to fill them in. Email is a little less personal. Just make sure you do get them directions or accomodation information.

I agree with everyone so far - email the details...and tell them (if you have extra invites) that you'll get one in the mail again!
Might be that they recently moved as well??

That sucks! I would not expect them to loose so many invites with all these examples of ones lost!

I agree with all the other ladies, and thought I'd share my experience. I once got an STD for a wedding, and never got an invitation. I was really puzzled by this, but didn't want to call the bride and say "dude, where's my invite?" in case she'd decided her list was too big or whatever. I heard from someone that she was mortified, and several of her invitations had been lost, BUT she never bothered to send any information about the wheres and whatnot. I eventually just sent a gift, saying, "I hope you had a wonderful day..." What else could I do?
Not to hijack...LOL
