Cabernet and Marine

i am in love with this color combination... cabernet (similar to a wine color) and marine (not as dark as a navy, but definately a dark blue)

These are two stunning jewel tones, paired together and would make for several interesting "themes".

A romantic, rustic scene comes to mind. Roses in shades of the cabernet with tablecloths in the marine color. cake in marine with rose petals all around the base. CLear vases with lighted water dyed marine color, with floating candles or rose stems out the tops.

These two colors also remind me of old nautical colors from up north in New England area. An elegant, upscale Cape Cod theme?

This would also be a nice match for a winter theme. Put the colors with a warm ivory or butter yellow and you'd have a very unique and beautiful, cozy winter wedding.

The pair can also go very modern. Think squares or circles, even polka dots or stripes as a main focal point. Everything very clean, simple and sleek. Cala lilies in the cabernet. Solid marine color invitations. Tables in all one color per table, but alternating.

Can I just say I love that color combo too. I was hoping that's would be the color for my friends wedding.

I think romance and elegance when I see it. Candles for center pieces... umm that's all I can think of.

I was searching for pictures, but there's nothing out there with both as color combinations. Here some stuff that I found.

I love what the others suggested - you could go rustic, or modern.
